Dental care is often overlooked, though it is very important. Bad dental disease can lead to many health problems, including heart, liver, and kidney disease because it travels through the bloodstream. Even scarier is that the disease affects 80 percent of dogs and 70 percent of cats over the age of three. Still, most pet owners do not realize how important good dental care is. There are many ways to help improve your pets’ dental health. Dogs need their teeth brushed too! Dental chews are also helpful against the disease.
Taking radiographs during dental procedures allows veterinarians to correctly diagnose dental problems. It allows us to look inside your pet’s’ teeth and see their oral cavities. Digital dental radiographs allow us to decide which teeth need to be pulled and which are healthy enough to stay. They also help us decide if owners need to do more for their pets at home.
We know that you are on a busy schedule and we try our best to accommodate that when you visit our hospital. That is why we offer drop off visits, allowing you to leave your pet with us and pick them up after their visit is over.

It can also be used for chronic pain, helping to increase blood flow to those areas. Ask your pets’ veterinarian how your pet would benefit from our Cold Laser Therapy.
It’s a terrible feeling to know that your pet is lost and on their own, but it’s an avoidable one. Microchipping pets is the best way to ensure their safe return in the unfortunate event that they become lost.
Nutrition is so important for pets throughout their lives. As animals age, their nutritional needs change. There are puppy, adult, and senior diets to accommodate pets’ changing needs. Radiology is a technique and diagnostic tool that we use to look inside the body in an entirely non-invasive way. X-rays allow us to create images of all the body’s organs. In other words, the use of radiology gives us a view of the internal organs in your pets’ body that we otherwise could not see. It is a valuable diagnostic tool that helps veterinarians detect and prevent illness.
We provide care for your pet through all stages of life. Since pets age faster than we do, it is easy to forget that they can be considered seniors after just seven years. Moreover, as they get older, their health needs change in unique ways that require proper consideration.
We also realize that it can be stressful to have your pet undergo surgery. We want to assure you that your pet is in good hands, and that we will do everything to provide the best care possible. We will communicate with you about the things you need to know before, during, and after your pets’ surgery. It is our goal to make the entire process go smoothly, and to eliminate the stress and worry of surgical procedures.
